MOTHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful day! I wanted to share with you a few gift ideas for the Mom/Grandma/Wife in your life - as Mother's Day is just around the corner.

1. The Designer Tin of Cards project kit:

Kit includes tin and enough card bases, accents, and envelopes for 16 cards, 4 each of 4 designs. Coordinates with Designer Tin of Cards Stamp Set (item 141739). Stamps, ink, and adhesive sold separately.

I LOVE this card kit. I gave it as presents to my mom and grandma at Christmas and they both loved it! It is super easy to put together and the adorable tin it all comes in makes it easy to gift give.

Here is a quick video for a closer look:

So as I mentioned in the video - in addition to the kit, you need the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set, an assortment of inks and adhesive - but I have the stamps and inks for you to use - just purchase the Designer Tin of Cards kit today and put it together on Friday, May 12th (between 6-9pm) in my Studio.

Not sure you have time - I can put it together for you* and make it super easy to give to that special person in your life.

AND GUESS WHAT - this kit is retiring so its currently on sale for $25.20 (+ tax and shipping). Thought its while supplies last - so if this is something that you are interested in please email me or go online to get your order in now.

*If you would like me to put it together for you - the cost including tax and shipping is $40

2. A Card Class Together:

If your mom is anything like my mom (hi mom!) she wants to spend time with you - so why not do a card class together! Currently my card classes are $20 each month or FREE with a qualifying order - plus if you sign up your mom and you for my June class (Friday, June 23rd) - I will throw in a $10 gift certificate you can give her with a homemade card!

Not sure of dates - I can provide a gift certificate for you to give and redeem on a future date.

3. A Gift Certificate:

If your mom, mother in law, grandma or wife love to craft (ladies feel free to share this with your children and husbands!) why not give them the gift of shopping - she will love the opportunity to shop and enjoy some great deals with our retiring items sale. Plus I will package it all up with a FREE homemade card and gift holder.

4. A Paper Pumpkin Gift Subscription

The monthly all inclusive kit that comes to your door - Stampin' Up!'s Paper Pumpkin - is perfect as a gift - and very easy to give. You can check out more by clicking here.

CHECK OUT THESE DEALS!

Happy Tuesday! I've been crafting today and wanted to share some of the creations I put together using the So Succulent stamp set and papers - I LOVE this suite of products. If you don't have it - you could always do this idea with any stamp set and coordinate colours with a paper line. I didn't purchase the die set so I have been hand cutting the flowers - its really easy and helps give some dimension to the card...

And this morning Stampin' Up! added some GREAT deals to the Clearance Section.
Have you checked it out? Click here and click on Clearance Rack on the left hand side.

There is a great selection of papers, embellishments and tools.
If you want to add to my next order send me an email or feel free to shop online and have the order come directly to you. And remember for every order placed this week you will be entered to win the weekly giveaway prize (Tasty Treats Paper Pack) and you will receive a free gift and card from me.

Here is a quick glance at a few of the things you will find there:

APRIL PAPER PUMPKIN KIT REVEAL

Wow - I received my April Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail on Monday. As promised it was fantastic and I had so much fun putting it together!

I have already seen several people posting pictures of what they have created using the kit on the Paper Pumpkin Fan Facebook Group - be sure to check it out.

As always the kit comes with a handout to show you how to put it together and a video - check it out!
Even if you didn't get the kit there are a lot of ideas and water colouring techniques that you might find useful.

Here is what I created using the kit:

I put the first three together as per their instructions - the only difference was I used my Aqua Painter Brushes and my own watercolour pencils (you can see a list of supplies at the bottom of this post that I used in addition to what was in the box)

Then I started to play a bit:

Here I added a piece of the Melon Mambo cardstock

Then I started to use my ink pads and aqua painters to put together these:
(I rub the ink pad onto a clear block and then add water - makes for easy clean up)

(I added a few of the Daffodil Delight enamel shapes)

(I added a few of the Melon Mambo enamel shapes)

I started to use my new ink pad - Lemon Lime Twist
(Sara hinted at it in the video - its one of the new In Colours and it will be available with the other four in June!)

I liked the look of it mixed with the Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point

(I also used Pacific Point card stock and enamel shapes)

(I used the Bermuda Bay card stock and enamel shapes)

If you received the April kit - I would love to see what you do with it - be sure to post some of your favourite creations on the Create & Share Facebook group - you will be entered to win a FREE gift!

And if you don't miss the fun in May - be sure to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin by May 10th - check it out here for all the details.

READY FOR EASTER!

I always like to take something for my family at our holiday get togethers - something cute, usually involves a treat and something homemade. I love the idea of this little decorated paper cup with lid - I received it from a fellow demonstrator - Nora Hampton

But sometimes I run out of time to come up with a cute idea like this - and thats why I LOVE the Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin kits - the March kit was perfect to help me put together cute gifts for family and friends - check it out:

In this kit - I received all the supplies to make 9 bunny bags and and 9 mini cards.
How cute are they! I just added some of my favourite treats inside - super easy!

I did add some fun little eyes on a few from supplies I had on hand.
And I used Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum and Dapper Denim ink on the tags to match.

Stampin' Up! also provides great ideas on what else you can make with the supplies in the kit.

You can read more about these projects here.

Also there is a GREAT Facebook Group dedicated to Paper Pumpkin ideas

And each month Stampin' Up! provides a video for how to put together the kit.
Here is March's Video

And since I've been a little behind on posting about the Paper Pumpkin kits (and because it goes along with this months theme of birthdays) I thought I would also share the February kit
MANY HAPPY BIRTHDAYS

In this kit we received the supplies to make 9 of these unique cards that are perfect to hold a gift card or to be used as a party invite.

Here are three that I put together:
I also used Night of Navy ink and my balloon punch and balloon adventures stamp set.

And since its hard to show how these cards work - here is a quick video

The April Paper Pumpkin kit should be arriving any day to those who were luckily enough to subscribe by April 10th! I had a chance to see a sneak peak at the kit and I know you will have fun putting it together! Plus I'm excited to see the FREE gift included!

If you don't want to miss out on getting the May kit - click here to subscribe - its easy!
You can either sign up for one to give it a try, do a 1, 3, 6, or 12 month subscription or subscribe for the automatic monthly delivery (and cancel at any time).

Here is one more video to explain what Paper Pumpkin is all about!

I hope you will give Paper Pumpkin a try - its so much fun!
